Store bought treats are always a favorite for most dogs, but as an owner you should know there are healthier options out there.  These healthy treat alternatives can easily be used in your favorite Brightkins interactive dog puzzle!

  • Pumpkin: Store bought pumpkin puree is an easy treat alternative.  It's packed with fiber and can help regulate your dog's digestive system. Want to slow down your dog's treat time? Pop the puzzle with pumpkin puree into the freezer.  This will turn your puzzle into a popsicle!
  • Blueberries:  Antioxidants aren't just for humans, these berries pack a bunch into a tasty treat your dog will love. Make sure to keep these away from anything that will stain.
  • Green Beans:  For dogs that are watching their weight, green beans are a low-calorie treat that is high in fiber.
  • Sweet Potato:  Slice and roast sweet potatoes to make a yummy treat that you can keep in your fridge.  Sweet potatoes are a great sourcees of fiber and vitamins that are healthy for dogs.
